(,") WisHing UpOn A sTAr (",)

Today was the start of 2.5 day course... Shall not comment on the morning session coz it's nothing really interesting, neither is it captivating my attention.

Afternoon session was definitely a lot more engaging coz the speaker was able to capture our attention with her topic, and the way she interacts with audience, her humour etc... Basically (ah-ha... basically, it's not gd to keep using this word *lolx*) the topic was on how we shd present ourselves in terms of our grooming, how not to dress to put pple off, mannerism and etiquette etc. Den she went on how guys can be gentlemen... Could sense dat the gals in the lect was in total agreement wif the speaker sia... I noe the guys will feel that it's not fair, and since we alwaz proposed equality of both sexes, such things/mindsets shd be abolished as well. Nevertheless, these expectations that are already planted somehow into our culture/ or whatever-you-call-it is hard to be eradicated. There can never exists equality of both sexes as yet anyway. *lolx* I wouldnt mind to attend a course on dining etiquette again coz it's better then "talking soldier on the paper", still prefers hands on experience. SMU students need to be able to peel prawns successfully with their forks and knives to pass the course, while we dun ve that kind of interesting course to attend. Hear they oso can learn how to play golf, was wondering if it's true, din verify wif my SMU frens. Maybe NTU shd also include such courses to enhance our education and most importantly, add more fun to our otherwise mundane lessons.
